L'Enfer Et Moi

Hullo, my vocal readers.

This weekend marks one of the biggest events on the world stage, with the longest running annual TV song competition, Eurovision under way! So far, two semi finals have been completed and the only thing left is to hear the finalist sing their amazing songs and hear the voting.

This year, Australia was invited to take part as guests for the 60th Eurovision and Guy Sebastian will be singing in the final, which will be televised in Australia on Sunday night. Fingers crossed we don't come last. ^^

For those of you who aren't aware of Eurovision, each member, or invited, country submits a song to be performed on live television and radio and then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine the most popular song in the competition. The contest has been broadcast every year for sixty years, since its inauguration in 1956 and is one of the longest-running television programs in the world. It is also one of the most watched non-sporting events in the world, with audience figures having been quoted in recent years as anything between 100 million and 600 million internationally. (Information taken from the Eurovision Wikipedia Entry)

Today I have put together a list of my Top 10 Favorite Eurovision Songs. A lot of amazing artists and now, very well known artists, have graced the Eurovision stages over the years and this is just a tiny piece for you to enjoy.

I went for a slightly risque image because there is always something a lil risque at Eurovision. I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of a Eurovision weekend.
